For those about to give up:

"Did you feel that lump in your throat and that pain in your heart when he left you?
Or when your friend said she'd always be there, but she wasn't?
Every time you look at your reflection you feel more disgusted with yourself?
Does every day feel like a struggle?
Or maybe this life is making you hate humanity more and more each day.

You are not the only person who will ever feel this way.
We all have the same emotions.
We all go through the same shit.
We all feel like ending it all at some point in our lives, but someone always cares.
Even if it doesn't seem as if they're there, they are.
Hidden nearby ready to catch you as you fall.
When you take that razor and drag it across your skin.
When you deny the food they offer you.
When you flinch as someone reaches out to touch you.
When you wake up in a cold sweat after the nightmare you had.
When you look in the mirror and cry.
That person is thinking of you.

Everyone feels the same once in a while, whether they hide it or not."


Today, I'm a pessimist. The sky appeared a little grayer than usual.
